FUNDED: Pandacraft raises €1 million

Pandacraft, a monthly edutainment subscription box for three-to-seven-year olds, raised €1 million from Elaia Partners, Margaret Milan,  OTEO Investment and DPS&Co.

Founded in 2013, Pandacraft has over 10.000 subscribers in France. The Paris-based startup previously raised €500.000 and now plans to expand internationally.

FUNDED: LiveMentor raises €900.000 Seed Round

Paris-based LiveMentor, an online marketplace for live tutoring via web video chat, raised a €900.000 seed round from ISAI and a group of business angels including Nicolas Brusson, cofounder of BlaBlaCar.

Founded in 2012, LiveMentor currently has over 12.000 users, 2.500 of which are mentors. Tutoring sessions start at €10 per hour.

FUNDED: Proactive Academy raises €200k Seed Round

Proactive Academy, a Paris-based startup that helps students with career choices and job placements, raised €200.000 from governmental institutions and Pierre Danon.

Founded in 2014 in partnership with l’Association Nationale des Apprentis de France (ANAF), Proactive Academy promotes a proactive approach to job search. The funding will be used to launch a new portal “Trouvetonentreprise.com” (find your company) next year.
