UK-based Learning Technologies Group (LTG) launched LEO Learning, the new education brand that combines its acquisitions Epic and LINE Communications, earlier this month. Preloaded, the gaming studio that has been acquired by LTG in May, will now operate as LEO Preloaded, the company’s division for games with purpose.
UK-based Learning Technologies Group plc (LTG), parent company of Epic, announced the acquisition of Preloaded for approximately £2.2 million.
The acquisition is part of LTG’s “buy and build” strategy to create a global e-learning leader with in excess of £50m of revenue.
UK-based Learning Technologies Group plc (LTG), parent company of Epic, announced the acquisition of LINE Communications for £9 million. £5.1m will be paid in cash and £3.9m in new LTG shares.
Combined LINE and Epic will form the UK market leader in the e-learning custom content market according to the press release. The senior management team of LINE, including Piers Lea, its CEO, will remain with the business.
