Uber is facing new trouble in Europe. This time, Public Transport Body for London (TfL) wants to require Uber drivers pass an English language test among other regulations that it originally intended to implement Oct. 1st.
However, Uber has now won the right to take TfL to court in order to challenge these possible new regulations.

Macat, a London-based edtech startup that is working on an online learning platform and critical thinking tool, announced that it has closed a $30 million Angel Round. Macat previously raised an undisclosed $20 million from a group of angel investors.
Founded in 2012, Macat works with leading academics who create accessible analyses and multimedia content of seminal texts like The Art of War, Capital in the 21st Century, Clash of Civilizations, The Selfish Gene or The Second Sex.
The new funding will be used to add more content to the platform and for global expansion.

Edtech UK, a new strategic body supported by the mayor of London and London & Partners and endorsed by the UK government, officially launched on Wednesday with 25 founding members.
The organisation is led by Ian Fordham and Ty Goddard who also founded the think tank Education Foundation.
