EDUKWEST Europe eu Web Awards 2015

EDUKWEST Europe is Finalist at the .eu Web Awards 2015

We are excited and honored to announce that EDUKWEST Europe has been selected a finalist in the .eu Web Awards 2015.

The .eu Awards is an online competition launched with the objective to distinguish and award .eu websites that are leaders in five particular categories.

We are competing in the category of “the House of .eu” with political newspaper Politico and the bohemian city of Pilsen, European capital of culture 2015.

We, the editorial team of EDUKWEST Europe, would like to thank our readers for the many nominations that made this possible!

Now, the rest is up to the jury. We will keep you updated on the next steps and live tweet from the awards ceremony in Brussels on November 18th.

Our managing editor, Kay Alexander, says that

“Being one of the top three nominees in our category is already a huge success for EDUKWEST Europe. Looking at the competition we definitely feel a bit like David against two Goliaths. But we are naturally excited about being selected, and I believe it is a nice confirmation of our work and the growing interest in European education technology and entrepreneurship.”
