Paris-based Coorpacademy has raised €10 million for its B2B MOOC platform. The new round comes from NextStage, Debiopharm Investment and Serena Capital and brings the total funding raised to €13.2 million to date.
Founded in 2013 by Jean-Marc Tassetto (former VP Google France), Arnauld Mitre (former Director Google France) and serial entrepreneur Frédérick Benichou, Coorpacademy previously raised €3.2 million in 2014. The funding will be used to accelerate the expansion across Europe and to improve the platform’s machine learning algorithm.
Coorpacademy offers business owners and their employees a platform to train them in order to make better decisions for the company as well as their individual careers through gamification and peer learning. According to the company there are over 300.000 users subscribed to Coorpacademy, 70% of which are currently active.
